Throughout 2019 The Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund has been implementing the Charities Governance Code as outlined by the Charities Regulator.

This code is based on six key principles:

The Charity is:

• advancing its charitable purpose
• behaving with integrity
• leading people
• exercising control
• working effectively
• being accountable and transparent

The Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund is now complying with all six elements of the Governance Code.
